Our Story
Hi, I’m Sam — a mom, a maker, and the founder of PatchPal.
This all started with one little patch and one big need: keeping my toddler safe after a surprise peanut allergy diagnosis. Like many parents, I scrambled for ways to keep caregivers, daycare staff, and even kind strangers aware of his allergy. Bracelets were too bulky. Stickers fell off. And not everyone knew what to look for.
So I made something that worked for him — and for me. A gentle, skin-safe temporary tattoo with a bold, friendly message. And suddenly, communication was easier. Safer. Clearer.
From that single moment, PatchPal was born.
PatchPal is more than a safety tool — it’s peace of mind for parents, a bridge for kids who can’t always speak up, and a quiet hero in the background of every playground, classroom, or birthday party. Our designs are cheerful and comforting, our materials are chosen with care, and our mission is simple: visible safety for little voices.
Every PatchPal design is made with real kids in mind — from allergies and asthma to communication needs and cognitive differences. We believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for… even when they can’t explain how.
Thanks for being here, and welcome to the PatchPal family.
